With affordable tuition and flexible scheduling, Joliet Junior College Romeoville Campus is the perfect place for students of all ages to continue their education. Course offerings also include Illinois High School Diploma (GED), ESL, and lifelong learning classes.
In January 1993, Joliet Junior College opened the Romeoville Campus as a 35,000-square-foot facility. In 2015, the campus expanded by 49,000 square feet to include more classrooms and science labs, an open computer lab, a collaborative classroom, and much more.
The beautiful grounds of Romeoville Campus are also home to a Monarch Waystation. This designation means that more than four acres of the grounds meet guidelines including sun exposure, the presence of milkweed and nectar plants, and the consistent and pesticide-free maintenance and management of the habitat. Create your next innovative project or invention in our labs. When you need to use a 3D printer, our state-of-the-art equipment will take your projects to the next level! This lab also includes sewing machines and soldering stations.
The lab is available to JJC students, staff, and faculty, as well as MakerLab members.

The Joliet Junior College Police Department is comprised of sworn officers and civilian personnel. It is our goal to provide a safe campus conducive to a rich learning environment. The Police Dispatch Center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergencies and non- emergencies.

Professional Development classes at Romeoville include training in indispensable computer programs like Microsoft Excel and Word.
Lifelong Learning classes enrich minds and provide an easy for students to explore new talents and keep up with today's constantly changing technologies. Popular classes at Romeoville include history, sign language, culinary demonstrations, and 3D printing.
And we haven't forgotten the kids! In our STEAM-based Kids College classes, children enjoy hands-on activities while exploring educational topics, making new friends and having fun!
JJC is excited to announce the Next STEP Coffee Shop, launched in partnership with the Valley View Secondary Transition Experience Program (STEP). This initiative supports young adults from Bolingbrook and Romeoville public schools with disabilities by focusing on building vocational and independent life skills in a real work environment.

Host your event or meeting at JJC! The college has spaces to accommodate many different types of events.
Romeoville Campus faculty may receive support from the Campus Services area. Support may include accessing campus mail, requesting office supplies, or renting a lockable file cabinet. Additionally, any issues with the campus copiers/ printers including requests for toner and paper should be directed the Campus Services area.
You CAN afford college! Our Financial Aid office can help you through the process of applying for the FAFSA, student loans, grants and more.
Romeoville Campus, Main Campus, and City Center Campuses have Flex Office spaces available for booking by JJC Faculty and Staff. These spaces are designed to accommodate JJC employees who require temporary office space while visiting another campus for a few hours or for an entire day.
The Learning Resource Center is one of several student study areas at Romeoville Campus available for quiet study, group study sessions, and Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) tutoring appointments. Whiteboards and computers are available for student use. Biology models may be accessed when TLC staff are present. Employee and student printers are also available.
Campus Services at Romeoville Campus is your one-stop-shop for assistance! Within Campus Services, JJC students can check-out and return library materials available at Romeoville Campus or via interlibrary loan. A library material drop box is in the hallway outside of RMA 1024.
Romeoville Campus grounds are recognized as an official Monarch Waystation. This means our more than 5,000 square foot outdoor space meets the necessary guidelines ideal to support monarch butterflies as they migrate from the United States and Canada to the mountains of central Mexico. This is a great example of how JJC demonstrates sustainability - one of the institution's core values.

Tuition and Fees (paying your bill)
Registration staff accept payments at the Romeoville Campus. Students may pay with credit, debit, cash, or check. Please note that there is a 1.95% convenience fee for credit/ debit payments.
Romeoville Campus is an internationally-recognized Repair Café location as a result of the efforts of the Joliet Junior College Office of Sustainability. Our Repair Café provides a free meeting place to have items repaired. Such repairs may include clothing, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, jewelry, toys, etc. Learn more about the international movement at repaircafe.org.
The Office of Student Activities provides opportunities for students to discover, practice, and develop their personal and professional skill sets through campus involvement opportunities including clubs, Student Government, leadership training, recreation programs, community engagement, and social events.
The Center for Student Wellness and Support at Joliet Junior College is dedicated to fostering the holistic well-being of students by providing compassionate support, empowering resources, and opportunities for growth. JJC's Testing Services office is your one-stop-shop for test taking. In addition to offering placement testing and academic testing for students, select certification testing and specialized testing is also available for community members.

JJC partners with many colleges and universities to develop transfer agreements. While you are able to transfer to any school of your choice, selecting a school and program as part of a transfer agreement will provide additional benefits. These benefits may include transfer guides, tuition discounts, special scholarships, additional advising, and/or the acceptance of additional transfer credit.
