JJC approved a three-year lease agreement with the Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet Head Start program to operate in the former Early Childhood Center space on Main Campus. The space includes two classrooms, office space, a small kitchen prep area, the outdoor playground, restrooms and storage.
Sign Up for Child Care This Fall
The Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet Head Start program will offer child care and education services on JJC's Main Campus beginning this fall.
Monday through Friday
6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Child Care Tuition Assistance
The CCAMPIS grant (Child Care Access Means Parents in School) can support low-income parents in college who need child care services.
To qualify for CCAMPIS, you must be:
- Enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester at JJC
- A JJC student with a declared major
- The caregiver of a child (or children) enrolled in the child care program
- Eligible for a PELL grant through the JJC Financial Aid office
