Full job description Established 3 office podiatric practice is looking for a team member to provide patient coordinator services. We are an electronic records office, so the right candidate will be comfortable on computers. This position coordinates patients under direct supervision of the doctor for treatment as well as medical records. Previous experience in medical office is preferred, though not required . Our systems currently include Dr. Chrono and Tebra, but we are willing to train . No weekend hours. Must be able to stay until end of clinic day which is scheduled to end by 5P. We are looking to add one part time team member . Regular 24 hour per week schedule will be at 2 of our 3 locations, exact days/locations will be negotiated with candidate based on their commute as well as clinic needs. Willingness to work at all three of our Coal City, Minooka and Oswego locations with additional preplanned hours to assist in covering teammates' out of office schedules will provide additional 8-16 hours in some weeks. Full training will be by experienced staff. We look forward to bringing on a new team member! Duties: *Opportunities for knowledge and growth in a friendly environment. * Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit using an electronic health record. *Works directly with patients in providing hands on care- training for care is under direct supervision of doctor. We are willing and happy to train the right candidate. Our practice includes procedures (injections, care of nails, physical therapy of the foot and ankle, etc. as well as we are a Durable Medical Equipment provider for the foot and ankle.) Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Also assist in cleaning of the office (it's a full team responsibility.) * Answering phones and scheduling patients. *Bilingual a plus.
