SAVE THE DATE for JJC's 1st ever MAJOR EXPLORATION FAIR! November 5, 2014, 9:30am - 1:00pm, J-Building, Lower Level. Explore all of JJC’s academic and career options in one place, at one time! Get all your questions answered as you meet faculty members, advisors, representatives from various four year colleges & universities, and alumni & employers who are in working in the field. Undecided majors can also attend a Major Exploration Workshop. In this workshop, you will learn the importance of choosing a major early; find out what resources are available to help you begin the major selection process; and begin to develop a major selection plan of action. Workshops are offered throughout the semester.

Skilled Trades Career Fair / Manufacturing Day
Save the Date—October 7, 2014—for MFG Day. The Three Rivers Manufacturers’ Association (TRMA) is joining with over 800 nationwide locations hosting a Manufacturing Day Event—MFG DAY. Plan to be there on October 7th for demonstrations of applied S.T.E.M., such as the chemistry behind the creation of beauty products and common household items “active ingredient.” Additionally, you and your students will get up close and personal with the technology that drives the industry as well as hear from industry leaders about the STEM-centric career opportunities.
