Greenway Ford, GMC, and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, in Morris has been a family-owned business since 1967. We are looking to expand our service team and are currently seeking a professional, motivated, and customer-oriented entry Automotive Lube Technician.

Work week entails 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. – Noon.

Basic responsibilities include:

Perform entry level automotive maintenance:
Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections per OEM and dealership specifications (bumper to bumper inspection)
Perform oil/filter change and tire rotations
Inspect/replace tires
Inspect /replace brakes
Inspect/replace filters
Inspect belts
Top off fluids
Lubricate/grease moving parts
Perform other basic maintenance per OEM specs and/or requested by management

Make additional service recommendations based upon comprehensive multi-point inspections and OEM and/or dealership recommended maintenance service intervals
Responsible for performing all assigned tasks on every repair order at the highest level of dealership and factory quality standards from bumper to bumper
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
Maintain consistent reliability and maintain a professional decorum in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Possess knowledge of parts and components required to complete basic automotive maintenance.
Communicate part(s) requirements with parts department.
Positive attitude and works well individually and with others.
Participate in all factory and in-house dealership training made available.
Perform any tasks assigned as directed by management.
Other Basic Requirements:

Occasional exposure to inclement weather
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Consistent and reliable transportation.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Basic computer skills (typing).
