Community Band Concert

Celebrate the season with the JJC community band! Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music. Under the baton of Charles Morgan, JJC director of bands, this concert promises a rich and dynamic program that showcases the expressive power of concert band music.

Program highlights include "Golden Jubilee March" by John Philip Sousa, Symphony No. 3 "Slavyanskaya" by Boris Kozhevinkov, "Blessed Are They" by Johannes Brahms and "Galop Festivo" by Randall Standridge.

After intermission, we'll usher in the holiday spirit with "Joyful World" by R. Allan Carter, "Nutcracker Fantasia" by Julie Giroux, "The Holly and the Ivy" arranged by Tom Wallace, "Minor Alterations 2" by David Lovrien and the holiday classic "Sleigh Ride" by Leroy Anderson.

This year marks the 46th anniversary of the JJC community band, a proud tradition of musical excellence. Come celebrate this milestone with us and enjoy a festive afternoon of beautifully performed repertoire by some of the region's finest musicians.
