Education programs in the Health and Public Services Department at JJC are designed to meet the health care, public service and safety needs of the community college district -- including students, residents and local employers.
We offer a wide variety of programs at the Associate in Applied Science degree level, as well as certificates, licenses and continuing education. In addition to classroom and hands-on instruction, each program emphasizes community service and development of employment/job-seeking skills.
Allied health programs include: EMS (EMR, EMT and paramedic levels), sonography (diagnostic ultrasound), radiologic technology, CNA, EKG tech, phlebotomy, and CPR.
Public service programs include: Fire Science, Criminal Justice, and Law Enforcement.
