Mission Statement |
The primary mission of the Alumni Association shall be to promote the welfare, preserve the standards and advance the interest of Joliet
Junior College, its alumni, students, faculty and community and to foster strong relationships.
Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the JJC Alumni Association is to build a strong loyalty and support for Joliet Junior College among its graduates and former
students whose careers are contributing to our community’s business, professional, agricultural, industrial, science and health fields.
The Association provides a forum for the exchange of information and experience between the alumni, students, faculty, staff, administration,
Board of Trustees, Foundation Board and the Joliet Junior College community.
The Joliet Junior College Alumni Association assists with fundraising activities that will advance the programs of Joliet Junior College and
enhance the scholarship aid and/or grants for qualified students, faculty and staff of the college.
It is our goal to identify and recruit students who would benefit from the programs and courses provided by Joliet Junior College, inform
alumni members about current development, changes and long-range goals and to award scholarships to students at Joliet Junior College.

An Alumni Message |
To celebrate JJC's 100th anniversary, the Joliet Junior College Foundation is
selling commemorative pavers bricks in the
Centennial Plaza Mall
located at the entrance to D-Building on the Main Campus. Now, for just
$100, Joliet Junior College family and friends have a chance to pay tribute
to a loved one, beautify the campus and become a permanent part of the
college's glorious history. It is a unique and thoughtful way to recognize a
graduation, wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, or honor the memory
of a loved one.
The bricks are rectangular shaped and are
9.5" wide. Each brick may contain up to three (3) lines of up to thirteen
(13) characters per line in black engraving only, allowing the sponsor to
have his or her name, as well as a special date, engraved on it.
