Musica Viva: Guest Ensemble Concert - Cor Cantiamo

Please join the JJC Fine Arts Department for the Guest Ensemble Concert. This installment of the Spring 2020 Musica Viva Concert Series will feature Cor Cantiamo, a professional chamber choir, conducted by Dr. Eric Johnson. This choir's creative programming and artistry weave contemporary music with choral masterworks to present concerts designed to inspire and engage audiences. An ensemble-in-residence at Northern Illinois University School of Music, Cor Cantiamo has achieved critical acclaim and recognition for their musicality, impassioned performances and versatility. The program will include choral works by Brahms, Casals, Latin American composers and African-American spirituals.

This concert is free and open to the public.
