Personal Trainer

The Personal Trainer certificate at Joliet Junior College offers students the technical information and practical experience to seek employment as a personal trainer/fitness instructor.

Phlebotomy Technician Training Program

This short-term training program is designed to prepare students for entry-level placement as a phlebotomist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The program can be completed in one semester.

Practical Nurse (P.N.)

Licensed practical nurses provide basic nursing care and work under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.

Precision Machine Technology

The Precision Machine Technology program includes both theoretical and hands-on laboratory experiences designed to complement a four-year machinist or tool and die makers’ apprenticeship program.

Process Control and Instrumentation Technology

The PCIT program provides training for working in a variety of industries and also offers theoretical and hands-on learning in setting up and maintaining automated control systems.

Radiologic Technology

Radiologic Technologists (also referred to as radiographers) are integral members of the health care team that image the human body utilizing ionizing radiation (x-rays).

Registered Nurse (R.N.)

Registered nurses (RN’s) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients.
