Kelly Johnston
Head Cheerleading Coach
Kelly Johnston will begin her second year as the head coach of the Joliet Junior College cheerleading squad. Last season, Coach Johnston and the team participated in the Lewis University Cheerleading Competition and did very well amongst many four year colleges and universities. She was an assistant coach at JJC for one year before taking over the program in the fall of 2008. As an assistant, she helped lead the team to a first place finish in the Americheer competition at Navy Pier. She also assisted in the organization of the first annual JJC Cheerleading Competition
Kelly is a graduate of Plainfield South High School where she cheered for all four years. In the off-season, Johnston helped out the Plainfield Junior Cats Cheerleading team. After high school, Kelly attended Joliet Junior College where she was a two year cheerleader and team captain. She graduated from JJC with an associate's degree in arts. She is currently finishing her bachelor's degree in elementary education at Lewis University.

Kimberly Johnston
Assistant Cheerleading Coach
Kimberly Johnston begins her first year as an assistant cheerleading coach at Joliet Junior College.
Kimberly was a four year cheerleader at Plainfield South High School. After high school, she attended Joliet Junior College where she cheered for three years. Presently, she is a cheerleader at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL.
Kimberly currently resides in Plainfield, IL.
