Services include assistance in choosing a major, career assessments, on-campus recruitment, job fairs, assistance in finding on- and off- campus employment, and information on internships with help available in developing resumes, cover letters and interviewing skills.
Developmental level courses prepare students for success in college-level courses. The developmental education system is committed to bridging educational gaps in students' backgrounds so that they can be successful in post-secondary education and training.
A full range of adult education, job training, employment, and support services are provided for adult students/participants and their families.

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program aims to prepare non-native speakers of English with the academic skills and strategies integral to their success in future undergraduate and graduate studies.
This program is designed to prepare students ages 16 and older who are not enrolled in high school for the General Educational Development (GED) test. Classes are offered online and in Spanish.
Students seeking to have a positive experience in school and life can find resources and assistance through the Holistic Wellness Program, as well as events including Alcohol Awareness Week, Relay for Life, stress relief, and volunteer opportunities.
Provides academic and personal support, as well as social and cultural resources to enhance the educational experience of minority students at Joliet Junior College.
Project Achieve offers tutoring, academic counseling, study skills, career exploration, transfer support, and workshops.
