Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grant
Need Assistance with Child Care Payments?
Are you a JJC student who needs financial assistance with child care? Are you eligible for a Pell Grant Award? If yes, apply for convenient, reduced cost, on-campus child care, at the Joliet Junior College Early Childhood Center on main campus.
The Department of Education’s Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) funds are available for JJC college students of any declared major who are parents of children ages three through five years. The student-parent may attend any JJC campus location. Enrollment is limited and requires an application process.

Eligibility Criteria
- Pell eligible
- Enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours
- Declared major
- Maintain standards of academic progress according to JJC financial aid policies
- Enroll child for a minimum of two days a week, five hours a day
- Participate in an orientation to the Early Childhood Center
Attend an informational meeting for more information on December 18, 2009 at 2 pm in the Early Childhood Center.
