Returning Adults (25+ years of age)

Adult student listing to a class lecture

JJC is committed to academic success through degree completion. Many adults began an academic career several years ago, but did not finish. Perhaps a job, a family, finances, or other life situations interfered with education completion. JJC student support staff recognizes that "NOW!" may be the time to complete that certificate or degree. College diplomas often offer new and better employment opportunities.

  • Are you 25+ years of age?
  • Have you attended JJC in the past?
  • Have you earned 45+ college credit hours?
  • Do you want to complete a JJC degree or certificate?

Online Degree Complete Analysis provides returning adult students with individualized credit and degree analysis to guide you in your return to complete your education with JJC. Online advising eliminates many visits to campus and assists you with course selection, registration, and access to financial aid and other support services. Your questions are answered in a timely and comprehensive response via one online counselor. Your academic summary is analyzed according to your education needs and goals. Course recommendations, transfer information, registration and credit transfer procedures, graduation processes and other information and services are often provided through quick responses and easy-to-navigate links.

Can we help you earn your degree or certificate from JJC?

The Online Degree Completion Analysis Service is not available during summer.  This service will resume at the beginning of fall semester, Monday, August 20, 2012.  We encourage you to schedule an educational planning appointment with a Counselor by calling 815-280-2673 (main campus) or 815-886-3000 (Romeoville campus) to discuss returning to school.
