Students transfering from Joliet Junior College should visit the Transfer Student Information page.
Students transferring to Joliet Junior College from another college who plan to register as full-time students, part-time students, or are unsure of which courses to take must make an appointment with a counselor before registering.
A transfer student is defined as a student who has earned six or more hours of credit from another college. Those who have earned less must follow criteria for new full-time students.
Follow these steps:
- Be sure you have completed the reverse transfer student admissions steps first.
- Schedule an appointment with a JJC counselor or adviser to discuss courses for degrees and/or certificates. Students will view a reverse transfer presentation and complete an information form on the day of their appointment. Students must bring documentation (grade reports, etc.) of all completed work to their counseling appointment. Although a counselor/adviser cannot officially evaluate transcripts, the documents will assist in course selection.
