Steps to Register for the Preparation Session

Option One: Registering in person
  1. Visit the ASC Secretary to ensure that a space is available.  Leslie is typically in the office from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
    • Leslie Kolesar - 815-280-6667 - A-1136 in Campus Center
    • Pay the TEAS Preparation Workshop Fee at the Student Accounts and Payments office.  This is a non-refundable fee.
    • JJC students who are enrolled in the current or next semester pay $5.00 per workshop.
    • Non-JJC students pay $25.00 per workshop.
  2. Bring your receipt to the ASC Secretary and register for one or more of the following TEAS Preparation Workshops:
    • TEAS Math
    • TEAS Reading
    • TEAS Science
    • TEAS Writing
  3. Receive SARS email and iCampus access.  Individuals not currently enrolled at JJC may request that TEAS Preparation information be emailed to a personal email account once fee has been paid.
  4. Attend your TEAS Preparation Workshop(s).  You do not need a copy of your receipt as your name will appear on the roster.
    • Only those students on the roster will be allowed to attend.  There are no drop-ins and no exceptions.

Option Two: Registering over the phone

  1. Call the ASC Secretary to ensure that a space is available.  Leslie is typically in the office from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
    • Leslie Kolesar - 815-280-6667 - A-1136 in Campus Center
  2. After checking workshop availability, Leslie will transfer you to the Student Accounts and Payments office so you can pay your TEAS Preparation Workshop Fee over the phone with a credit card.  This is a non-refundable fee.
    • JJC students who are currently enrolled in the current, or next semester pay $5.00 per workshop
    • Non-JJC students pay $25.00 per workshop
  3. Ask the Student Accounts and Payments staff member to (1) transfer your call back to Leslie to complete registration process and (2) bring your receipt to the ASC Secretary.

All TEAS Preparation Workshop participants were asked whether they agreed with the statements, "This workshop will help me be more successful on my TEAS test," and "I would recommend this workshop to a friend."  Below are the results including some additional participant comments.
