Group Testing is a wonderful option for educational and corporate institutions who wish to reserve testing computers for 10-24 students or staff to then complete the JJC ACT COMPASS Placement testing. If you are interested in pursuing this service please follow the steps below:
- Decide on a campus; you may schedule group testing at Main Campus in Joliet, Romeoville Campus, Morris Education Center, or City Center Campus.
- Contact the ASC Secretary at 815-280-6667 at least one month prior to testing.
- Make sure that all of your testers view the ACT COMPASS Placement Testing webpage to learn about test preparation, components, etc.
- On the day of testing, testers must
- Have one acceptable form of identification
- Arrive at least ten minutes early so that staff may begin processing the testers
- Abide by the Academic Skills Center calculator usage policies
- Place backpack, books, paperwork, food, drink, all electronic devices, and all other personal items in an ASC locker; these are not allowed in the testing area. If items do not fit, then they must be taken and stored in your car.
