GED Preparation - 2014 Version 


The Academic Skills Center (ASC) offers free GED tutoring sessions.  As you may know, GED testing will undergo major changes effective January 2014 in terms of test content and format structure.  In anticipation of these changes, the ASC has revised the online review options below.  Good luck to you with your GED exam!

    • Good Typing - This program provides 27 lessons designed to help students learn to use their entire keyboards correctly. (Available in English and Spanish)

    • Mind Flash - This site provides links to websites that focus on computer literacy, keyboarding, and mouse skills.
    • Mouse Skills - This site provides more than 100 games to help you learn mouse skills.
    • Mousing Around - This site provides practice for using the mouse including clicking and dragging skills.
    • Nimble Fingers - This site provides online typing test tutorials to help students learn basic keystrokes.
    • Online Typing Games - This site provides fun games to improve typing skills.
    • Power Typing - This site provides typing lessons and five typing games.
    • Typing Web - This site is a free online typing and keyboarding tutorial for all skills levels.
