For students interested in the best value in education, Joliet Junior College is the answer. Whether a student wishes to remain close to home while pursuing a degree or simply wants to obtain a quality education at a fraction of the cost, JJC is the right place. JJC offers a wide range of degrees and certificates for students studying in an occupational field and wanting to obtain a job in their field of choice in two years or less. Of course, those students who wish to continue their education at a four-year institution will find that they can complete their first two years of coursework and save a substantial amount of money. Plus, studies have shown that JJC students typically do as well as or better than students who spend their first two years at a four-year college or university   

JJC’s first-rate programs offer a diverse selection of coursework. A student may choose to study anything from Chocolate (CA 231) to Introduction to International Economics (ECON 111). Students also can schedule their classes during the day, evening or weekend at the Main Campus or at several satellite sites throughout the district. Other options include online courses, late-start courses which begin later in the semester or accelerated programs. JJC strives to ensure every district resident has an opportunity to further their education and does its best to make scheduling classes as convenient as possible.
