New Students
New full-time students are required to attend a new student group
advising and eRegistration session.
Attention
At this time course selection is very limited! It may not be possible to secure a
full-time student schedule. Fall classes begin August 25. The registration process for the Spring
2009 semester (January classes) begins in November 2008.
Up until Friday, August 22nd, new students wishing to register part-time may be seen on a walk-in basis in
the Counseling Office AFTER completing a JJC Admissions Application and COMPASS Placement Test.
Full Time Group Advising
Group Advising and e-Registration Sessions will resume in November for Spring (January classes) semester
registration. Please refer back to this site in October for additional information.
New Part-time Students
While new part-time students are not required to attend a group advising and eRegistration
session, it is highly encouraged. To sign up for a session, please follow the steps above for new full-time student.
To register for courses without attending a session, please see the
registration page.
Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Specialized Intake Process
Students pursuing these
majors must contact the department to complete their New Student Orientation Process. See the
