What is Project Achieve?

Project Achieve is an integrated student support program that is federally funded. All services are free.

Who qualifies for Project Achieve?

Students whose parents did not graduate from a four-year university or college. Low-income students and disabled students are also eligible. All students must be working on an associate degree, either transfer or applied.

How can I benefit from the services offered through Project Achieve?

Students benefit academically, culturally, and personally. Students generally experience an improvement in GPA, an easier transition to four-year institutions, increased self-esteem, and cultural enrichment.

How do I sign up for the program?

An appointment must be made with the academic specialist/counselor. During this appointment, an intake/orientation will take place. All a student must bring is an estimate of the family's income for recording purposes.

How often can I see the tutors?

Tutors directly schedule their own appointments. Each tutor has his/her own tutorial rules. Generally, a student can see a tutor once a week. See the professional tutors page for specific information.
