Classes
Our two classrooms at the JJC Early Childhood Center are the Blue Classroom and
the Red Classroom. Teachers plan a weekly curriculum based on the children's interests
that aligns with the Illinois State Board of Education Early Learning Standards
for Children ages 3 to 5 years.
The curriculum is a combination of child-initiated
play, adult-supported projects, small and large group activities, informal and pre-planned
learning experiences.
