Students can:

• study
• sign up for tutoring
• sign up for a testing appointment
• use the computers
• use the magnification equipment and software
• Learn how to use computer software (Kurzweil 3000) so that the computer can read your text books and other class materials out loud (student will have earphones).

  Kurzweil 3000 software is also available in the library, at various sites on Main Campus and at the North campus.

All tutors are degreed Educational Accommodations Specialists.

If you have a testing appointment, follow these procedures:

1. Give a pink sheet to your instructor several days before the test. Remind your instructor the class period before the test date.
2. Schedule testing times and accommodations in J2009 at least 24 hours prior to the exam.
3. Tests start on the hour or on the half-hour. Be in the Resource Room at least 5 minutes prior to your testing time.
