Make-up Testing
Make-up Testing
Students should speak with their instructors about any tests they have missed so
that the tests will be on file when they arrive.
Students must:
- log-in at the front desk computer
- submit their driver's license or student ID prior to testing
When administering a test, the secretary and/or clerk will sign off on the test
submission form, the date of testing and their initials.
Tests will be pulled from the files by the ASC secretaries, clerks, or by one of
the support staff tutors, when necessary. Student workers are not allowed to handle
any tests that are delivered by instructors, and do not have access to the testing
cabinet.
Taking the Test
Students are required to sit in the designated testing area, when taking a make-up
test. All ASC secretaries and clerks observe each student taking a test. If any
student is caught cheating, the monitor will approach the student quietly and retrieve
the test and notes being used. The test and notes will be returned to the instructor.
The student is then asked by the monitor to sign out on the front desk computer.
After completing the test:
- the secretary and/or clerk will sign off on the test submission
- the test will either be mailed back to the instructor or placed in a folder for
pickup
- the student can sign out at the front desk computer
