Specialized programs
and services are available to women and families, such as:
- Welfare to Work Center
- Learning for Earning (provides monetary stipends)
- Displaced Homemakers
- Dress for Success
- Family Education
- Professional Women's Group
- Teen and Youth programs
- Child care and transportation assistance/referrals
- Education and career planning
- Advising and case-management
- Support groups
- Employment assistance
- various personal and professional support groups
- exciting workshops and retreats
- discussion groups on women issues (health, emotional, personal growth)
- access to child care resources
- financial management/investment seminars
- positive parenting workshops
- self-esteem, motivation, and "success attitude" workshops
- access to the "Journey to Success"
- and programs designed to meet specific needs of participants
Family, child, youth and teen programs and services include family literacy and family success
programming to empower families with parent/child programs such as youth and teen reach, after
school academic enrichment and homework center.

Tuition Assistance
You may be eligible for free tuition towards:
- College credit and certificate classes
- Books
- Job training and placement
- Mentoring
- Counseling (career, academic, personal)
- Assistance preparing a resume

Dress for Success
Available free to all Welfare to Work and Women's Center participants is the "Dress for Success"
and Professional Women's Group program, which offers the following:
- new and slightly-used professional clothing
- accessories and cosmetics

Family Education
Parents with at least one child under the age of 16 are encouraged to participate
in parenting education and parent/child activities while working on their GED, basic
skills, or ESL classes.
