Citizenship Classes
Free citizenship courses for adults prepare individuals to take the test for U.S.
Citizenship. The course is based on the "100 Questions" and includes modules in
US History and Government, the US Constitution and Customs, Citizenship Rights and
Responsibilities, and Preparing for the Citizenship Interview and Exam. Assistance
with completing the Citizenship application is also provided by trained staff.
English Literacy and Civics Project
The English Literacy and Civics Project is designed for individuals seeking assistance
in becoming a U.S. Citizen, and who are preparing for INS interviews and would like
to understand the naturalization process. The project also works with individuals
who need financial assistance for education and training, support services such
as transportation, childcare books and fees, as well as need help in looking for
and securing a job.
