Marie Wilson, Past President

Marie Wilson

Class of 1963

Marie Therese Wilson, nee Orosco, born and raised in Joliet, attended St. Mary Carmelite Grade School. In 1961 Marie graduated from Joliet Township High School. In 1963 she graduated from Joliet Junior College and was active in the Student of Medical Science Program under the guidance of Mr. Ed Puddicombe. In 1966, graduated from Illinois Masonic Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago.

Marie is currently working as a staff nurse for High Tech Medical Park AM Surge Recovery Room. Marie has two daughters and one grandson. Her interests are sewing and biking. She is active with the JTHS Class of 1961 Reunion Committee. Marie is also a regular at the JJC Fitness Center.

Marie was honored at the September 2004 Board of Trustees meeting for her service to JJC and received a proclamation from JJC Trustee, Judy DeVriendt.
