After logging on to the PC with your username and password, the Clean Access Agent window will pop up, it will ask for your JJC username and password. Use this to log onto the network.

How can I tell if I'm logged on or not?

If you try to open a webpage and it does not connect, then chances are, you are not connected. Just open up the Clean Access Agent again and log on.

What does it mean if I'm quarantined?

If you are quarantined it means that your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to log onto the network. The Clean Access Agent should give a list of software and patches that need to be installed on your computer before you can connect to the internet. Once you have fully updated your computer, try logging on again to regain access to the internet.

How can I get out of being quarantined?

Clean Access gives a list of software and updates that need to be installed before connecting to the network. Contact PC Help if you encounter that your Critical Updates are not up to date. Run the OfficeScan update on Trend Micro Anti-Virus to have the latest virus protection. Once this is done, try logging onto the network again to see if you have access. You will be required to log into the system every time you logon to the JJC Network in order to ensure that your system continues to meet all requirements. There may be times where an urgent virus definition may need to be distributed and all PC’s required to update. If you unplug or turn off your computer, you may be asked to logon again when your computer comes back online.

If you are not logged on or quarantined you will be able to access Trend Micro’s Update Server and the JJC web site.

Will the Clean Access Agent monitor anything that I do online?

No. The Clean Access Agent will only make sure that Trend Micro Antivirus is installed and updated; the Windows Operating System is fully patched and set to automatically download and install updates. Any information regarding websites visited and software used (with the exception of Trend Micro Antivirus) will not be monitored by Clean Access.
