Registration
There are several ways to register for courses at JJC – in person, over the phone,
online, or during a group advising session (required by new full-time students).

What should you know about the fall 2008 General Registration Process?
- General Registration ends Sunday, August 24th at midnight.
Attention
At this time course selection is very limited! It may not be possible
to secure a full-time student schedule. Fall classes begin August 25. The registration process for the
Spring 2009 semester (January classes) begins in November 2008 (October for continuing students).
Up until Friday, August 22nd, new students wishing to register part-time may be seen on a walk-in basis in
the Counseling Office AFTER completing a JJC Admissions Application and COMPASS Placement Test.
Note: Counselors will be available on Saturday August 23rd; however, they will only see
continuing and returning students and reverse transfer (i.e. students with credits from other colleges).
Late Start Classes
Begin September 2nd.
The Counseling Office will see students on a walk-in basis after Monday, August 25th. Please note there
are only a few available sections left for late start classes. Enrolled students may drop or add classes
through the JJC Registration office. Once a class has met, students will need an Instructor's signature
on an add/drop form.

Fall 2008 Registration
- Registration begins: Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 12:01am
- Classes begin: Monday, Aug. 25, 2008
Spring 2009 Registration
- Dates are not yet set for the Spring 2009 semester.
Reminder: Once you have registered for your classes you will need to pay for them
