Graduation Office
In order to be awarded a JJC degree or certificate, you
MUST
apply for graduation and adhere to the deadlines for the month
in which you wish to graduate.

* Denotes months in which students may choose to participate in
a commencement ceremony. Students graduating in August may
return for the December ceremony if they desire.
JJC now hosts two graduation ceremonies a year in the A.A. Wills
Gymnasium on the Main Campus.
Applying for Graduation
- Complete the
Online
Application for Graduation.

Wait 8-10 weeks for a letter concerning your
graduation status.

Required: 64 or more semester hours with no
zero-level courses and a 2.00 or higher cumulative grade point
average. Please check the catalog for other requirements.
Important: Most delays in processing graduation
applications are caused by the applicant not applying for the
correct degree. Check with an advisor, counselor and/or college
catalog to determine the correct degree.

Commencement
The commencement ceremony is held annually in
May and December. Students graduating in August may return for
the December ceremony if they desire. Cap and Gown are purchased
for a nominal fee.
