Mathematics Course at JJC
   
I. First Time College Students and Current JJC Students Who Have Not Taken A Math Class.
  The information on this page is intended for first time college students and students currently attending JJC who have not taken a math course.
   
II. Visiting and Reverse Transfer Students.
  The information on this page is intended for students who have attended or are attending another college.
   
III. Students With At Least A Bachelors Degree.
  The information on this page is intended for students who have obtained at least a Bachelors degree.

  This page is intended to address any questions that a student might have about math placement.  If your question is not addressed on this page, a contact email address is listed.
   
The Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics reserves the right to resolve placement disputes, correct improper placement and to change the placement of students based on relevant information.  This includes, but is not limited to, students placed lower than their documented ability and students placed higher than their documented ability.
