There are a significant number of opportunities for the accounting graduate in the Chicago land area.  Accountants can work in the areas of bookkeeping, payroll, individual or corporate tax and many others.

Human Resource Managers are responsible for overseeing the recruiting, hiring, training, benefit programs and personnel files for employees.  Professionals with human resource expertise are needed at all types and sizes of companies.

Management
The key to success at all companies is good management.  Good managers have an understanding of economics, marketing, human resource management and the legal environment of business.

Marketing
Private firms, public agencies and the government all need marketing professionals.  Marketing professionals may work in sales, advertising, public relations and retail management.

Retail Management
Retail means more than just working at a store.  Retail managers are responsible for overseeing many aspects of a retail business, from personnel, to marketing, to customer service.
