About Plus 50
The Plus 50 Workforce Center was established to promote mentoring, volunteering, ageless learning, and re-careering programs for individuals age 50+. Programs and services are geared specifically to the adult learner facing the opportunities and challenges of leaving their current job and choosing a retirement job or second career. Programs and workshops, as well as access to a comprehensive resource area, are customized to meet the needs of the mature job seeker.

Retirement Planning Course
Learn how to avoid the ten biggest retirement planning mistakes by attending JJC’s Mature Workforce Center’s Retirement Planning classes! Whether your objective is to build a nest egg, protect your assets, or preserve your lifestyle throughout retirement, this course helps you plan your future with confidence. 50+ Resume Writing & Job Search Workshop

The Alzheimer's at Home training program is a specialized course for in-home workers and family caregivers age 50 and older who care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's. Together with the Alzheimer's Associaion- Greater Illinois Chapter, JJC's Workforce Development is offering this program in response to the growing number of Americans caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
