Conversational Sign Language I
(LLC 1056)

Learn signing through demonstration and participation. This class is for individuals with no background in sign language. Topics include the manual alphabet, basic word signs and beginning sentence work.

Conversational Sign Language II
(LLC 1057)

Expand on Conversational Sign Language I. Widen your signing vocabulary, gain higher proficiency with the manual alphabet, practice your skills and continue developing sentence work.
*For each paid registration in Section T1, one member of the same household can register for Section T2 at the reduced price of $44. Both sections meet at the same time in the same classroom.

 

Sign Language ER (LLC 3838)
Are you in the health care profession and would like to be able to establish basic communication with the hearing impaired?  Have you experience times when waiting for an interpreter is just not an option?  Take a crash course in Sign Language that will focus specifically on communication needed in a health care setting.

 

Parent/Child Sign Language
(LLC 3844)

Discover a new language and build communication skills.  Learn the basics of American Sign Language.  Kids and adults  will work together focusing on the alphabet, counting and basic signs to begin communication in sign language.  Whether a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle register as a team with your youngster and enjoy learning a new communication skill together.  Child appropriate book included in price of course.

 

New Baby Sign (LLC 3911 )
Learn how to build early communication with you littlest one right from the start.  This class is specially designed to get Moms and Dads started in basic signs to teach baby that will open the earliest lines of communication.  Parents can attend the classes separately so no babysitter will be needed.  Moms can attend the first two sessions and Dads the last two sessions (or vice versa depending on personal scheduling needs) the same content will be covered for each parent.  Enrollment price is per couple.
