Enjoy colorful icebox cookies, chocolate cherry biscotti, pecan nuggets, pavarones, cutout cookies and French macaroons. Bring your questions and ideas for a fun night of cookie making and, of course, tasting!
New Healthy Breads, Grains and Whole Wheat (LLC 3874)
Join in the first of a series of hand-on bread baking classes with a real Certified Master Pastry Chef. Healthy Breads, Grains and Whole Wheat breads will be the focus of this exciting day. Enjoy learning to bake breads at home, start new family traditions as you delight in providing your family with healthy whole and multi-grain breads. New Authentic Danish and Croissants (LLC 3878)
(From a Dutch Master Chef) Dare to go beyond the traditional and learn to prepare melt in your mouth Danish and rich buttery croissants for special holiday baking treats. Put on your apron for this one because this hands on class puts you right in the middle of the action as you roll up your sleeves and enjoy baking with our Certified Master Pastry Chef who was trained in the Netherlands and will guide you through the processes that you can repeat at home. Savory Soups (LLC 1504)
Soup is truly a staple of life. As a beginning to an elegant multi-course meal, or a meal in itself, soup provides an opportunity for you to express your culinary skills. Learn to prepare savory soups from scratch, including “too busy to cook” varieties. Also includes techniques in stock preparation which is the basis of a great soup. Demonstration course with tasting included.
New Healthy Party Foods (LLC 3879)

This class is loaded with low-fat, reduced-calorie, healthy and most importantly, delicious, recipes and ideas for your next dinner party, tailgating event, potluck or picnic. New Make Your Favorite Restaurant Recipes at Home (LLC 3880)

Old Naw’Lins Cookery (LLC 3629)
Students will learn techniques of gumbo, jambalaya and etouffés (shrimp/crawfish). Bread pudding and southern pecan pie will provide sampling delights. Students can taste delicious New Orleans cuisine and observe cooking demonstrations as a learning experience.
New Fabulous Fall Desserts (LLC 3881)
Fall has arrived and it is time to build your recipe box with fabulous desserts for those holiday gatherings that are just around the corner. Join this demonstration class filled with delightful creations that will delight friends and family. Our chef will take you through the process of making a pumpkin roll along with several other creative desserts that will become family favorites. Don't forget to leave room for dessert as samples will also treat you in this class.
