The Division of Adult and Family Services is a state mandated partner in the Will County One Stop System. The One Stop System in a network of partners who provide a full range of education employment training and job placement, supportive services and other program services.

The College's One-Stop Welfare to Work and Women’s Support Center provides a full range of educational, job training and support services for individuals receiving any form of public assistance - TANF, Medical card, social security, food stamps (LINK card) and individuals with disabilities. The Welfare to Work Center operates as the college's One-Stop office to assist all welfare recipients enrolled or desiring to enroll in classes or programs at JJC.

The Welfare to Work and Women's Support Center provides linkages to educational and support services including career assessment, financial aid, job coaching, mentoring and counseling for welfare recipients who are presently working or are in need of skills to enter the workforce. Welfare to work training and support programs and services designed to prepare welfare recipients to obtain training, advance in employment and/or become employed in jobs in areas of high employment demand leading to economic self sufficiency are all available through the Welfare to Work Center.

The Welfare-to-Women's Education/Training and Support Center provides comprehensive assistance in obtaining employment, job training, housing, child care and transportation expenses, work clothes, books and supplies, car repair allowance, and other emergency support services for eligible participants and families.
