Welcome to the Student Learning Committee Website

This committee is designed to guide the development, implementation, reporting and ongoing use of assessment plans for student learning in academic and technical departments and student service areas. The plans and reports that are developed will show how much our students are learning and where we have strengths and areas to change.

Kristin LaTour, English instructor, leads the committee, with members coming from each academic and technical department and other areas involved in student learning. Members lead the assessment planning in their area, and report back to the committee. We also foster assessment initiatives through grants, instructor education through conference attendance and other means.
