Details
Our ‘on the water’ social / educational and competitive events are scheduled
to take place alternately on every second or third weekend from April through to
November.
Events, with the exception of ‘off the bank’ seminars
discussed above, will typically take place on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Our events are open to both members and non-members of the JJCAC. Although club
membership is encouraged, non-club members are welcome to fish as guests for
their first (complementary) event.
Each event is tailored so that all anglers, from the greenest rookie through
to the most seasoned veteran angler, will experience an enjoyable and worthwhile
day on the water. Parents and their kids, especially those wishing to capture
their first fish, are encouraged to attend educational / social events; while
casual or beginning anglers will be able to quickly hone their bank fishing
skills through learning more about rigs and tactics during friendly and informal
pre-event demonstrations at competitive events. Please e-mail

Bankfishing
seminars are also organized on a monthly basis throughout the remaining cooler
months (September – March). Each event will take place on a mid-week evening and
feature an entertaining ‘in house’ or specially invited guest speaker, as well
as hands on demonstrations and activities. Most seminars will take place at
Joliet Junior College.
