Whenever attending a job fair, don't be misled by the word "fair".  Even though there may be a fair-like atmosphere at the event, employers expect professionalism on your part.  So always dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume.

Career fairs are different from job fairs in that the focus is mostly on learning about different careers and how to get the proper education and training for them.  Sometimes jobs are available but networking and information are the main purpose.

Part-time/Seasonal Job Fair (9/11/07) for current JJC students - employers seeking students to work locally.

Nursing Job Fair (3/20/08)- health care organizations seeking CNA, LPN, and RN qualified employees.

The Joliet Regional Job Fair (4/11/08)- numerous local and Chicago area employers who offer a variety of jobs at all skill levels.

Other Job Fairs and Recruitment Opportunities .  Career Services, when notified, posts other job fairs and recruitment meetings in the Chicagoland area.
