The key elements to finding a career where you will be successful and find fulfillment are knowing yourself, knowing the world of work and making a decision.  Career exploration is the first two of these elements.  Get to know yourself by assessing your interests and values. Get to know the world of work by doing career research.

Attend a Career Info Session  

If you are undecided about your major or not sure what career to pursue, start the semester off right by attending our What’s Your Career Pathway?” workshop. Learn the importance of choosing a major early; find out what resources are available to help you begin the major selection process; and begin to develop a major selection plan of action.

Take an Assessment  

Career services offers assessments to help individuals further develop their understanding of interests, personality and values. Meet individually with a career advisor to discuss which of the following assessments is the best option for you.

  • Strong Interest Inventory
  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator
  • Values Assessment
