The 2008 season will be Dr. McCarthy's third season with the Joliet
Junior College cross country team.
Last season,
the men's cross country team qualified for the NJCAA Division III
National Championship in Kings Park, NY where the team placed 14th.
Dr. McCarthy is a graduate of the National College of Chiropractic. He is currently practicing in Homer Glen, Illinois, where he treats and
trains to variety of endurance athletes. |

Dr. McCarthy is an adjunct faculty member at Joliet Junior College, currently teaching Human Biology. He has taught at Moraine Valley
Community College in the past, teaching a variety of courses ranging from Human Anatomy and Physiology to Nutrition.
Dr. McCarthy holds a National Strength and Conditioning Certification and is also a USAT Triathlon Certified Coach.
He is an avid runner and triathlete, competing in events ranging from 5k’s to Iron Man triathlons.
Dr. McCarthy and his wife, Vicki, reside in Homer Glen, IL. They
have a daughter, Lilian, 5 months. |
