Paul is a 1994 graduate of Joliet Junior College. He earned his bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.

He is a financial advisor with A. G. Edwards in Joliet, specializing in assisting individuals in retirement and wealth management.

He and his wife, Mary Ann (Lopykinski) Reider reside in Plainfield. Paul was born and raised in Shorewood.

Paul is an avid golfer, a sports fan, and also enjoys reading, economic research, and traveling.
