Sylvester Cottrell graduated from JJC in 1971. He received
his Bachelors of Humanities from Lewis University in 1973. Sylvester
received his Masters in Education from Lewis University in 1986, Type 75
–Administrative Endorsement in 1991. He is the Department Chair of Humanities at Joliet Township High School. Sylvester’s community involvement includes Joliet Boys and Girls Club, NAACP National Charter and he serves on the Lewis University Alumni Board. He formerly served on the Joliet Historical Preservation Committee. Sylvester has lived in the area for 50 years. Sylvester and his wife Debra and their family reside in Joliet. |
