The Joliet Junior College Alumni Association in partnership with Joliet
Township High School will host the 27th Annual Alumni Brunch on Sunday, June 8
from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Brunch will be held in the
Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Center located at 214 North Ottawa Street
in Joliet. JJC alumni, faculty, staff and friends are invited to attend.
The event will honor the JJC classes of 1958, 1968 and 1978. Each year the JJC
Alumni Association offers two awards to outstanding individuals.
The Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award
is the highest honor bestowed upon alumni of Joliet Junior College by the Alumni
Association, on behalf of Joliet Junior College. It is presented to those alumni
who have demonstrated outstanding success in his/her chosen field, and provided
humanitarian service to society.
The Susan H. Wood Hall
of Fame was established to recognize a non-alumna/alumnus of Joliet Junior
College who is a current or former faculty member, administrator or friend who
has served Joliet Junior College in an exceptional way.
The Student Alumni Association will honor a JJC faculty member with the Prestige Award.
This award honors an outstanding full-time JJC faculty member. Nominations for this award
come from the JJC student body.
Alumni Brunch tickets are $28 per person (the cost includes a tour of the
Joliet Historical Museum following the brunch). To make a reservation, print,
complete and mail our
registration
form along with a check made payable to the Joliet Junior College Foundation
by June 1, 2007 to: JJC Alumni Office, Room H-1019, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet,
IL 60431-8938.
Reservations can also be made over the phone with a credit card. Tickets will
not be issued for this event. Nametags will be issued for those who have made
