International Airports: Travel Arrangements
Midway and O’Hare airport are Chicago’s two international airports. Information on the airports and travel to and from Chicago can be found at the Chicago Department of Aviation website.
Joliet Junior College is approximately 45 miles (73 km) from either airport with travel times varying on traffic. Our main campus is located at the following address:

PACE, the suburban bus service, serves the JJC Main Campus Monday through Saturday. Direct service to JJC is available via Pace Bus 501. Transfer routes to JJC include PACE Buses 503, 505, 506 and 507. The Pace Bus also makes a stop at the Joliet Union Station where students can board the Metra Rail System or the Amtrak Rail System and travel to downtown Chicago or other states. International students make their own arrangements to stay with in-district sponsors, in-district local apartments found online, or in one of the International Suites at Centennial Commons housing prior to arriving in the United States. If you choose to stay at Centennial Commons, please follow the steps outlined in the International Housing Packet (PDF).
