State goals & performance indicators: Performance Report

Accreditation performance indicators: AQIP
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness is to provide evidence that institutional performance is consistent with college goals as stated in the Joliet Junior College mission of providing an accessible and quality learning environment. We are responsible for coordinating two broad activities:

1. Institutional Improvement: Encouraging JJC programs use evidence to improve teaching, learning, service, and other activities. Evidence can take many forms - quantitative, qualitative, portfolios, etc. - and depends on the context and mission of the program.

2. Accountability: ensuring that external accountability requirements are met, including reporting to local, state, and federal governments, accreditation agencies, and other stakeholders.

All of these activities are built around JJC's Model of Institutional Effectiveness
