Constitution Testing

Students should check JJC's graduation requirements to determine if they have met the Constitutional requirements or need to take one or both sections of the Constitution test.  A Constitution Testing Study Guide is available in the Academic Skills Center for review. You may take the Constitution Test as often as necessary, but you must eventually pass it to demonstrate your knowledge and to be able to graduate.  Each time you take the test, there is a $10 fee.

The Constitution Test contains two parts, a federal and state section. Take the section(s) you need to complete for graduation. The test covers four basic topics:

Federal (70 questions):

  • THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

  • THE CONSTITUTION and AMENDMENTS OF THE UNITED STATES

  • THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES

State (30 questions):

  • THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS
