The Fire Science Technology program at JJC is designed to teach students fire protection fundamentals and prepare them for entry level positions in the fire service industry.

Geographic Information Systems: GIS@JJC

(GIS) is a rapidly evolving field that is used in business, industry and government. It utilizes Global Positioning Systems , cartography and visualization, remote sensing, and spatial analysis.

Geography Courses

Students may choose to study weather and climate or landforms for lab science credit, or they may investigate social science aspects by examining economic or cultural geography.

Global Supply Chain Management

This program emphasizes the essentials of supply chain and operations management, the transportation and distribution process, and cargo security compliance.

Graphic Design

The student completing the AAS degree in Graphic Design will a have working entry-level, print and digital portfolio to help them as they enter into the design industry.

Health Information Management Technology

HIM professionals work in a multitude of settings throughout the healthcare industry, including hospitals, physician offices and clinics, long-term care facilities, and insurance companies.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR)

The HVAC program prepares the students to meet challenges offered in the HVAC/R industry. The program focuses on the commercial aspect of building management and operation.


History courses offer students an understanding of social, cultural, political, and economic developments from various periods of time.
