Apply for Graduation

Student Receiving their Diploma

In order to graduate, make sure you meet all of the graduation requirements then follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the online application for graduation.
  2. Wait 6-8 weeks for a letter concerning your graduation status.

Most delays in processing graduation applications are caused by the applicant not applying for the correct degree. Check with an adviser, counselor and/or college catalog to determine the correct degree.

An application for graduation can also be generated using one of the student kiosk terminals located on the Main Campus in the A building; Romeoville Campus; and the City Center Campus, 5th floor. Fold and drop completed graduation application in the drop box located near the Registration Office. Romeoville Campus applicants: please return your completed graduation application to the front office.

Alternatively, students can make an in-person request through the Graduation Office, Campus Center A-1020 (see map), or call (815) 280-2459.
