Please note: All music and theatre events will be held in the Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Theatre unless noted in the Fine Arts Calendar. The recitals are free of charge and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Students enrolled in all areas of applied music at Joliet Junior College are eligible to perform on the recitals.

Music Student Recitals

The Joliet Junior College Music Student Recitals are held in the Fine Arts Theatre. The recitals are free of charge and open to the public. Students enrolled in all areas of applied music at Joliet Junior College are eligible to perform on the recitals.

The honors recital is held at the end of the Spring Semester. Students are recommended by the music faculty to audition. The recital is free of charge and open to the public.

  • April 8, 2018*, Guest Artists/Alumni Concert.: Mary Elizabeth Bowden, Trumpet. This concert will be followed by a free master class for high school and college students: 3:00 p.m.

Ticket Information

  • JJC Community and Jazz Band, and the JJC Chorale

    Single ticket prices for the JJC Community and Jazz Band, and the JJC Chorale are as follows:

    • $5 General Public
    • $4 Faculty/Staff, Senior Citizen, and Non-JJC Student
    • $2 JJC Students

    All evening concerts/recitals begin at 7:30 pm in the Fine Arts Theatre.

    All Sunday afternoon concerts/recitals begin at 3:00 pm in the Fine Arts Theatre.

  • JJC Chamber Singers Concerts

    The JJC Chamber Singers Concerts are priced specifically for each event. They include the following events:

    • MadriGala Dinner (December event)
    • "Choral Masterworks Concert featuring the JJC Chamber Singers and the JJC Chorale (May event)

  • The Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra

    The Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra is priced at $10.00 per ticket.
